In addition to economic and social sustainability, bees bring environmental benefits. With approximately 20,000 bees in each of our colonies, we are contributing to the pollination of our native forests, permanent conservation areas, commercial forests, and crops.
In 2019, we started commercial beekeeping as an alternative for sustainable production and integrated into our production system.
In 2020, production reached 15 thousand pounds of honey from various native blooms and reforestation at Fazenda Santa Ana, employing 3 new employees who operate the rural industry in a structure specially built for this purpose.
