Innovation

The traditionalism and risk aversion of the rural sector was no big news in 1980, when we started, as it isn't today. However, Fazenda Santa Ana has always stood out by innovative ideas. We were the first property to have electric power (1981), the first to use a rotational system of pastures (1992), the first to bet on planted forests (2005), and solar energy (2019), among other experiences.
We know that innovation is expensive, with solutions from one area not applying directly to others. That's why we created a brand apart, where we have the freedom to experiment, MinGO. Currently, we are investigating the economic viability of artificial insemination and different cattle breeds in our area, focusing on production of earlier steers and matrices.

In the same spirit of innovation, we are starting research work for the development of unmanned aircraft (drones) capable of frequently evaluating characteristics such as pasture planting quality, dry matter availability for cattle, erosion, among other everyday problems. of a rural property.
